The annual IoSCM Supply Chain Awards are the perfect opportunity for the Institute to award and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our learners, clients, members and professionals from across the supply chain for the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated throughout the year.

The 2022 Supply Chain Awards took place on 20th October at The Copthorne, Newcastle where we were joined by members from the IoSCM Advisory Council, IoSCM Ambassadors, VIP Guests from throughout the supply chain, Award Sponsors and most important of all our Award Winners.

Contribution to wider supply chain industry

Winner: Regatta

Recognising the importance of continued contributions in support of professionals and organisations within the supply chain industry, this award represents those who implement plans, introduce improvements, collaborate with like minded industry professionals to the benefit of those within our industry.

Contribution to innovation

Winner: Chris Hobbis, Translink Express

Implementation of ideas is both exciting and challenging, this award highlights those with proven success in delivering a project, from new systems to save costs to creative and innovative solutions to challenges. Recgonition to those who think outside the box to introduce improvement.

Contribution to Education

Winner: Haydn Sandvig

We’re overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of those supply chain professionals wanting to promote the education of others through sharing of expertise, experience and knowledge. Having a positive impact on those around you, influcing their careers and promoting the importance of education in our industry.

Defying the odd’s

Winner: Joanna Szczechowicz

Never more relevant than now, our industry has certainly experienced it’s share of adversity during difficult and turbulent periods. This category highlights those individuals and organisations who have shone in the face of adversity and stood out from the crowds to achieve success.

Learner of the Year

Winner: Molly Carter

Identifying amazing students is easy, we have so many of them! This category highlights individuals who have achieved something outstanding such managing to study while overcoming personal or professional challenges, has produced a white paper or delivered a successful project as part of their learning journey.

Member of the Year

Winner: Steven Tyler

Awarded to the member who has demonstrated their commitment to the IoSCM vision, representing fellow members and excelling in their field, the member of the year is held in the highest esteem for their outlook and exemplary service

Employer of the Year

Winner: Containerships

For employers proud to invest in the development of their employees and consider overall wellbeing. Promotion from within, putting the employee first, providing fantastic employee benefits are just a few ways that companies stand out from the crowd and deserve recognition in this category.

Contribution to the Institute

Winner: Murray Ambler-Shattock

Demonstrating their commitment to the wider supply chain and the Institute’s place within the industry. This accolade is awarded to an outstanding individual or organisation whose professionalism and enthusiasm has supported development and improvement within the Institute.

The Kevin Rumfitt Award

Winner: Tim Young

In memory of IoSCM’s Founder, the Kevin Rumfitt Award celebrates excellence within the supply chain. Kevin’s vision to establish an Institute accessible to all within our industry has led us to the internationally applauded institute we are today, this award recognises the individual who has excelled in their field.

The Philip Chaganis OBE Award

Winner: Nicole French

In honour of IoSCM’s Chairman, the Philip Chaganis OBE Award is bestowed upon the Young Achiever of the Year.  Philip was a influential, founding father of the Instutute with a passion for supporting and advancing opportunities amongst young people. The winner of this award receives a bursary to support their further education within the industry.

Nominations for the 2023 IoSCM Supply Chain Awards will open in the summer of 2023, members will be notified via email along with an announcement in Supply Chain Outlook, IoSCM’s quarterly magazine.
