  • 15th May 2017

DHL ColdChain and DHL Global Forwarding have released another free mobile application for users to keep track of their shipment.

It provides customers from the life sciences and healthcare industry with an up to date overview of their shipment including, alerts concerning any transit issues regarding temperature as well as around the clock access to cold chain experts when needed.

The app allows customers 24/7 access to track their orders rather than logging online to their website to track their order making it more user-friendly. The LifeTrack mobile app is available for IOS and Android systems and also available to download from respective app stores.

David Bang, Global Head of DHL Temperature Management Solutions/CEO LifeConEx, DHL Forwarding stated: “Our mobile application provides customers with an immediate overview of the most critical information, such as temperatures, interventions and shipment resolutions all in an intuitive mobile design.”

Current DHL Thermonet and LifeConex customers are able to access the app using their current login details used for the web browser version. Once logged in, the application shows details of the shipment, route, movement and potential deviations.

It also provides customers with details of any irregularities and measures taken to resolve these. However, if the customer would like any further support they can contact DHL’s Cold Chain advisors 24/7 via the app.

The mobile app also compliments the previous apps which DHL Global forwarding and DHL Freight have launched in recent years. These include DHL ActiveTracing which tracks trace groupage shipments and Cargo Mobile Tracking app which traces sea and air freight shipments.
