Covid-19 Warehouse Safety

We are currently all in the grips of the terrible Covid-19 ‘coronavirus’ pandemic. As per all government’s advice – stay home, stay safe and protect your health service and the vulnerable.

Some industries, such as manufacturing, retail and logistics, must stay open to supply manufacturers with essential equipment and to keep supply chains moving. These companies still need to ensure the safety of their employees.

Andrew Kennedy, Logistics Expert and Founding member of the IoSCM Advisory Council has created a simple ‘Warehouse Safety’ advice sheet to promote good practice, which is free to download from the AK Logistics and Supply Chain website or by clicking here.

COVID-19 continues to create significant disruption to global supply chains, local, national and international economies, businesses of all sizes, and day to day life for millions of individuals. Travel restrictions, logistics services, isolation requirements and lock downs are causing disruption to the industry as raw materials, finished products and people are unable to move freely causing production to grind to a halt for many manufacturers. Keeping up to date with restrictions, access reliable advice, and avoid the scaremongering headlines is going to be key as we progress through the uncharted waters in the coming weeks and months. That’s why we have created the IoSCM Covid-19 Toolkit. Register for free today to find useful and relevant guidance and facts relating to the global pandemic.
