The release of the IoSCM 2023 qualifications brings with it a whole host of updates. From the latest industry content and new learner resources, to the updated course structure and sector specific course routes. We’ve detailed the changes below. To learn more about the full range of qualifications we recommend you access the Course Brochure, available towards the bottom of this page.

IoSCM Syllabus Content

The supply chain industry is constantly growing and developing and it’s important for us to update our course content with it. This ensures that we’re equipping our learners with the knowledge they need to develop within the industry, while also being able to adapt to new processes and challenges.

Supply Chain Qualification Options

We offer four different sizes of Supply Chain qualification. This allows you to choose an option that works best for you, based on your learning requirements.

You have the option to study:

Qualification Option Minimum Credit Value
Award 10
Certificate 30
Diploma 40
Extended Diploma 60

These options are available in every level that we offer, from Level 2 up through to Level 7. All options are accredited and Ofqual regulated, so you’ll receive a fully recognised qualification at the end of your studies.

Sector Specific Diplomas

You can now choose to complete a qualification that’s specific to a key sector within the supply chain industry. As well as Supply Chain and Operations, you can now complete a Diploma qualification in one of the following areas:

  • Business
  • Leadership and Management
  • Logistics and Transport
  • Manufacturing and Production
  • Ports and Shipping
  • Procurement
  • Warehousing and Inventory

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who specialise, or are aspiring to specialise, in a key area of the supply chain for their professional development.

Unit Sizes

Each of the units offered has its own credit value which reflects the size of that unit. You will select units based on their credit values, ensuring you’re meeting the minimum credit value of your chosen qualification. This allows you to structure the course in a way that suits your learning and development.
