Certifying your existing skills
The Institute of Supply Chain Management (IoSCM) offers a unique approach to qualifications which takes into account work experience as well as academic qualifications, making gaining a certificate in the supply chain sector more accessible.
INNOVATION IN LEARNING
IoSCM understands that not every person takes the same career path, which is why the Institute has developed qualifications which take into account the past work experience of a learner, rather than just their formal qualifications.
If a learner is looking to study a Level 3 qualification in Management, IoSCM will take into account their experience of working as a team leader and teach them valuable topics which can then be applied to their career or business. Likewise, when considering a Level 6 in Logistics and Transport, the Institute will consider learners' experience of working as a senior manager as well as any lower level qualifications previously achieved.
DEMONSTRATION OF EXPERIENCE
Through IoSCM's Demonstration of Competency route, learners can provide evidence of the skills they have acquired and developed throughout their career. By demonstrating their experience and clear understanding of the required skills, a learner will be accepted to study the course that is right for their own career progression.
